Our Story
Why We Opened Our Doors in Knoxville
New Hope was founded on a simple conviction: the people of East Tennessee deserve addiction and mental health care that is both clinically excellent and genuinely human. Too many families were sending loved ones out of state for quality treatment — or settling for care that treated symptoms without seeing the person.
Today, our licensed team treats adults and teens struggling with substance use, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders — through detox placement, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. We remain proudly local: rooted in Knoxville, minutes from the Smoky Mountains, and connected to the recovery community we helped build.
