An important facet of treatment at New Hope Healthcare includes during- and aftercare support services. It is our experience that those who participate in alumni groups after treatment have a much higher chance of remaining sober.
At New Hope we don’t just offer alumni services to our clients, but also the families. We believe that the families are just as much a part of our program as the client. We have implemented an open door policy, which allows those who came through our program to have access to extra support.
We strive to build a community that encourages our clients to feel welcome anytime. By hosting events and an annual alumni party, we create an atmosphere that promotes community. We believe that having a strong community of peers is one of the most important factors for you loved one’s growth.
We also believe that incorporating the family as often as possible is beneficial to our clients. We know that the stress of working through issues with your child is tough, and more often you feel as though you’re failing as a parent. During our support groups, you will have the opportunity to talk in an open format group with other parents going through similar situations. This group will be facilitated by one of our staff and intended to create a supportive environment for parents to feel free to talk about various issues. This is open to current parents of our program, and also parents of alumni.
